Keeping It Simple - Live Life Now

The Design Team are currently busy sharing inspiration and techniques for creating clean and simple cards. For my project I have chosen to combine the brilliant Strobes stencil and Live Life Now stamp set. This was so quick and easy to create as you will see from the steps below.

Take a 6x6 piece of smooth card stock and tape the stencil over it. Using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink swipe from the centre outwards, lightly covering the whole card.

Take an orange ink (I used Carved Pumpkin) and blend this in the centre.

Stamp the large butterfly in the middle using black ink and heat emboss.

Stamp the smaller butterflies in the bottom left and top right corners and emboss.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment in the bottom right corner.

Take a slightly larger square of black card and adhere the image to it, creating a frame around it before mounting onto a card base.
