Keeping It Simple - Birthday In Bloom

TUTORIAL

Step 1 - Start by lightly blending 'spun sugar' distress ink through the Curves stencil to create a delicate background.

Step 2 - Stamp the flower image 3 times in a co-ordinating colour to the background. I chose 'Confetti' Elements ink.

Step 3 - Blend more distress ink around the edges of the card, slightly darker than background to create dimension then, using a fine paint brush, splatter water on the background for a faux bleach effect.

Step 4 - Stamp the Birthday sentiment using the same ink as the flowers, cut out and add foam mount to raise it off the card.

I loved this design so much, so I made a selection of matching cards in different colourways!
