Hippie Chick

Summer is here! The weather in May has been warm and sunny, and we can only hope for some more of that for all the graduations and other celebrations in June. The Hippie Chick stamp set is perfect for any summer card, whether it’s a birthday, a summer party, or perhaps a graduation.

For this card I stamped the hippie chick on Neenah cardstock with Memento Ink and coloured her with my Ohuhu markers.

Some details were added with a white gel pen, and then I used the stencil Holodeck and a pink Distress Oxide to create a little something for the background.

The sentiment was stamped on black cardstock and embossed in white before I attached the words with 3D foam.

I drew a frame with a black fine liner pen and glued the panel onto black cardstock and then to a white card blank.

I love these simple cards – quick and easy to make. A happy hippie summer to everyone!
