Total Chaos, Glitch Numbers and Just Be Happy
As a project for my Art Journal, I wanted to use the Inky Flower from the TOTAL CHAOS stamp set as a petal within a much larger flower, using the image in a wreath formation.

I’m using the Sizzix Rotating Stamp Platform, however you can achieve a similar result by placing a square piece of cardstock into the corner of a stamping platform and rotating in 90-degree increments, to create the top layer of petals.

For the second layer follow the masking procedure and stamp freehand with an acrylic block.

Using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers I coloured in the flowers, then added a little extra colour using Colouring pencils. Using the masked image helped to isolate each of the flower heads as I coloured.
To add extra depth, I used a graphite pencil and a paper stump to blend between the flowers and around the entire image.

To add to the background, I stamped the Chaos Theory stamp twice, once in the middle of the Inky Flowers and once on a spare piece of cardstock to fussy cut out for decoupage, both were stamped with Versafine Clair – Medieval Blue and then heat embossed using Wow clear embossing powder.
Using the same ink, I stamped the Circuit Board stamp then changed to Craft Artist Fusion Ink – Phalto Blue to stamp the Creativity and Leaf stamp. I used the masked images to protect the flowers as I stamped over them.

Using the Glitch Numbers stencil and a blending brush that had some residual blue ink, I stencilled around the entire image. I added some splatters using Distress Foundry Wax – Gilded.

For the sentiments I chose the JUST BE HAPPY STAMP set and used both the Create Your Imagination and Take Risks stamps.

To finish I added glossy accents over the Chaos Theory Stamp and added two Metal clock hand embellishments.
