Sketched Snowflakes

Create a background by roughly blending Antique Linen and Old Paper distress inks straight into smooth white card. Lightly go round the edges using Scorched Timber distress ink the spatter with a little water to create a nice vintage background.

Making sure the background is completely dry stamp the largest snowflake from SKETCHED SNOWFLAKES in versamark and heat emboss using white embossing powder.

Next stamp the remaining snowflakes in versamark and heat emboss using various metallic embossing powders (I used Rose Gold, Silver and Gold).

Spatter white paint to give a snowy effect and while that dries stamp and emboss the sentiment on a piece of heatproof vellum.

Then place the vellum sentiment strip across the front of the panel and glue at the back. Assemble the card on a gold mat layer and using foam pads attach it to a card blank.

Finishing touches were a few different sized metallic sequins.
