Summer of Sport 2024 - Kick Off Your Birthday

I have made this card with the current Euros in mind. However you could easily adapt my design and use colours to suit any football team for a unique birthday card for those footie mad people in your life. Go England!

Tutorial

Cut a piece of white card 11.5 X 16.5cm. ” Cut 2 strips of red card, one 16.5 X 1.5cm and one 11.5 X 1.5cm. Stick them across the card as shown to form the England flag background.

Stamp the footballer using black ink and clear heat emboss. Die cut using the coordinating die.

Stamp the sentiments onto black card and white heat emboss, cut into strips. Stamp 2 large and 1 small football in black ink and the large football boot in red. Die cut using the coordinating dies.

Stick the footballer and small football in place. Add some mud splashes and trails using the accessory stamps with grey ink.

Stick the sentiments at the top and bottom of the card and add the large football and boots as shown.

Finally matt onto black card and a white card blank.
