Thinking Of You Tag
It’s Valentine’s Day, but if you always find this day hard to get through, then this little tag is for you. It’s ‘Friendship’ week for the Design Team, so for my make I’ve created a little tag using the beautifully heartfelt ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment stamp alongside the ‘Daisy Grunge’ stamp set and ‘Inky Daisy’ stencil.
Tutorial
Up first, I sprayed a Dina Wakley #8 tag with ‘Peacock Feathers, ‘Salvaged Patina’, and ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress spray stain.
Once dry, The ‘Inky Daisy’ stencil was placed over the top of the tag and ‘Salvaged Patina’ and ‘Peacock Feathers’ distress ink was blended through it.
The elements from the ‘Daisy Grunge’ stamp set were then stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ blue ink (1st and 2nd generation stamping).
Some ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress spritz spray and Posca white paint splatters were then added for extra pizzazz!
Next up, I stamped the main ‘Daisy Grunge’ image onto another piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow clear gloss superfine embossing powder.
This was then fussy cut out and coloured with Zig colour brushes. The whole daisy was then covered in Versamark before heat embossing with Wow disco ball embossing powder. It’s so sparkly!
The sentiment & header was then stamped onto a small piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow clear gloss superfine embossing powder. These were mounted onto black card.
Finally, the tag was glued onto black card before the sentiment, header and daisy were added to the tag using 3D mounts. Some ribbons and sparkly gems finish off the tag. I really enjoyed making this vibrant tag. It’s perfect to send to a friend who may need cheering up today especially.
